Well, my love your brothers have come and gone. It was really fun to have them with us, Daddy got to take them to a lot of fun places and mommy even went to the arcade with all the boys one day while nan watched you. Above is a picture just shortly after they met you —- they instantly loved you and wanted to play!
Today was your 2 month check up and you weigh 12.4 lbs. BIG BOY! 23 inches! Just perfect and doing very well the doc said. She said momma is doing a great job getting you healthy —- gold star for both of us. :) ALSO! Today you rolled over for the first time from your tummy to back! You are very strong and excelling already. Grampa Rob called you a bull :) You are so sweet and happy most of the time but today was ruff. Three shots made you really crabby all night and then the mobile over your crib came out and fell on your little head. You were fine but very scared and irritated. It scared mom and dad really bad, too. I just put you to bed and I hope you sleep well. Last night you slept for five hours straight. This Friday we move FINALLY into our new townhouse, the last space we will live in before we move to Ireland where all the fun really will start. I LOVE YOU. Sweet dreams my boy!

Today Jack and I hung out all day….this is what we’ve been doing for a while now. Daddy has to work and has been for very long days, getting home around 8pm or 9pm for the last few weeks. We hope to have some time together next week when the Nathan and Sean get here but Daddy thinks he will still need to work sometimes. So, Jack and I will be spending time with nanna Holly because she has time off work next week. YAY!!!!!!
I love you SO much, Jackie!!!! You’re becoming my best friend. :)

BABY JACK IS HERE!
First I’ll start on my daily update then……the story. wow!
My dear sweet baby boy,
Today you really learned who I was. You realized that I am YOUR mom. You gazed at me for over an hour with your big blue eyes and long dark eyelashes, gave us your first coo. We love you SO much! We love how you grunt at everything that’s good, bad, in between—-everything. You are a noisy, expressive boy and you let everyone know how you feel. You are sleeping pretty well now, about 3-4 hours at night and taking 1-2 hour naps during the day. You eat 4-6 oz. at a time of formula and BM mixed together. What a trip it’s been already! I can’t believe your mine. I hope you can feel how much everyone loves you. I only want you to be happy and healthy, when you are I am. :) I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.
Daddy just put you down for bed and mommy is pumping. We stayed over night at Grandma Holly’s last night after having a big feed and then lots of presents. Auntie Alisha took care of you all night so mommy and daddy could sleep. WOW. What nine hours of sleep feels like is crazy awesome. Next week, your brothers come to visit and stay for a whole week, we are so excited for them to finally meet you. You will be 8 weeks old by then.
More tomorrow, we love you sunshine! (daddy calls you sunshine all the time)

Hello my baby,
Today we had a check up and everything is great. We are both very healthy, momma is SO happy. You are growing just right, the doc said. We listened to your heart and she said you’re reacting perfectly to her touching you and what’s going on around you. She said if she had to guess you weigh about 5 pounds & you will gain another .5 pound every week until you get here. BUT, after momma’s birthday on the 15th of NOV you are allowed to come anytime. Mom is turning 30 years old! WOW. It’s so special to me because of you. :)
Last night, Daddie had a dream that you were laying on his chest sleeping just in your diaper drooling all over him. He was laying in bed at night with the fire going & said it was the most peaceful he’s felt in a very long time. He is really, really excited to have you with us soon & can’t wait to hold you. Dad’s been working a lot lately, getting home very late from work and then leaving early in the morning; he’s doing this so when you come he can stay with us for a while. He works very hard to take care of us both; soon we will be moving to Ireland and then momma is going back to work. I can’t wait! You can stay with Daddie and build things with him while Momma goes out and takes photos for people to buy.
Also, here’s a secret….we are thinking about naming you Christian instead of Jack now. BUT, I think Jack will stick. Maybe if you have a brother someday we will call him Christian but then again…..don’t be surprised if you end up being called Christian. Both are great names, we’ll see my love.
